Drawing inspiration from ideas he has explored in his academic and motivational writings, he spoke about the importance of coordinated purpose—much like the precision and harmony required when multiple entities move together towards a shared trajectory—and the value of intentional pauses in one’s journey that allow reflection, recalibration and renewed momentum. He encouraged interdisciplinary learning, humility and urgency in life, remarked that “AI minus I is just A,” and called upon graduates to give back to society and work towards building a developed India with integrity and commitment—every day.

In a moment steeped in nostalgia and renewed purpose, IAS Gaurav Dwivedi, CEO of Prasar Bharati, addressed the press conference of filmmaker Karan Razdan’s Rajni 2.0 on DD National and WAVES OTT, reaffirming the cultural significance and enduring relevance of India’s most iconic social crusader. The evening stood as a stirring tribute to the late Priya Tendulkar, whose fearless portrayal of Rajni reshaped Indian television and awakened a generation to injustice.

Produced by Karan Razdan under the Lord Shiva Entertainment banner, Rajni 2.0 follows Rama Rajni Prabhakarr, who walks in the footsteps of her mother and continues her legacy with unwavering resolve.

The new season boldly confronts urgent, real-world issues — fraudulent builders and RERA challenges, VVIP racism, malpractice in private hospitals, misuse of bypass surgeries, entitlements under Ayushman Bharat and PMJAY, workplace harassment under the POSH Act, chit fund scams, drug de-addiction, and the fast-growing menace of digital arrest frauds targeting senior citizens.

Reflecting on the same, IAS Gaurav Dwivedi, CEO, Prasar Bharati, said, “My takeaway from the promo today was three phrases — women empowerment, consumer rights, and the safety of women in the workplace. Rajani was conceptualised, executed, and broadcast before  the issues entered common language,  which shows how much the show was ahead of its time. It is unfortunate we could not find the episodes to re-telecast such great work, much as we would have loved to. But we searched and found Karan Razdan to bring the show back as Rajni 2.0, and we are elated that Rajni is back!”

Speaking at the event, Karan Razdan shared that the show seeks not just to highlight societal problems but to empower citizens with solutions. “Priya Tendulkar made Rajni a movement. Rajni 2.0 honours her legacy by giving today’s viewers the clarity, courage, and information they need to stand up once again,” he said.

The evening also resonated with heartfelt sentiments from distinguished guests. Anupam Kher spoke warmly of his deep friendship with Karan Razdan, his profound respect for Priya Tendulkar, and the need for socially relevant shows like Rajni 2.0 to find space on the DD National platform and WAVES OTT. Harman Baweja expressed pride in standing behind a show aired on DD National and WAVES, adding that his presence also honoured the cherished bond his father, filmmaker Harry Baweja, shared with both Karan Razdan and Anupam Kher.

Actress Aradhana Sharma spoke with disarming candour, saying that working on the series was not only a powerful learning experience but also an eye-opener that deepened her understanding of the social realities portrayed — something she feels proud to voice both as an individual and as an artiste.

The press conference concluded with an emotional remembrance of Basu Chatterjee and Priya Tendulkar, followed by a celebratory cake-cutting that marked the growing success of Rajni 2.0 — a series that continues to honour a formidable legacy while inspiring India to stand up, speak up, and demand a better tomorrow.

Transgender athlete Nandini Sindhi rises from struggle to national glory in Ice Stock Sport and now dreams of representing India at the international level.

Born and raised in Jaipur, Nandini Sindhi, a proud member of the transgender community, has become an inspiring symbol of courage, determination, and sporting excellence. Her life—marked by hardship, discrimination, and relentless struggle—has transformed into a story of resilience after she won multiple medals in Ice Stock Sport, including the prestigious National Gold Medal in 2025.

Nandini’s early life was filled with challenges. She lost both her parents at a very young age, leaving her responsible for supporting her entire family. While other children enjoyed carefree lives, she carried emotional and financial burdens far beyond her age. Growing up as a transgender child in a conservative society, she faced taunts, humiliation, exclusion, and discrimination. She was denied dignity, denied acceptance, and even denied employment opportunities simply because of her gender identity. With no support and no job prospects, she was forced to beg on trains just to survive.

During one of her most difficult phases, a member of the transgender community helped her understand the realities of society and the importance of inner strength. She later found shelter through Garima Greh NGO, but when the center shut down unexpectedly, she again faced uncertainty. Eventually, she joined the broader transgender community, yet the discrimination did not stop.

Determined to create a life of dignity for herself and others, Nandini began taking care of displaced transgender children and youth through the space earlier managed by Garima Greh’s Sartar Home. During this time, she met Msk Pankaj, a mentor from Garima Greh who played a crucial role in transforming her life. He introduced her to dance training and continued to guide her with genuine care.

Nandini recalls this turning point with deep gratitude:

“It was Msk Pankaj Sir who first told us about Ice Stock and took us to learn it. We all first met at the Garima Greh shelter home, where he used to train children for free in dance, singing, and other activities. Later, he called Manish Sir to teach us this sport and spoke to the Ice Stock Director to waive our fees. He gave us a chance to move forward and requested the association to support us. I thank him from my heart—no one does this much for transgender people.”

— Transgender athlete Nandini Sindhi

Through this support system, Nandini met Ice Stock Director Sakshi Sharma and coaches Sameer and Manish Bhati, who believed in her potential. Their guidance became the bridge between her struggles and her rising sports career.

Her journey in Ice Stock Sport began in 2024 when she won a Silver Medal at the District Championship. She soon advanced to the State Championship, winning Gold, and later competed in the 11th National Ice Stock Championship 2025 in Gulmarg, Jammu & Kashmir, where she secured Silver and Bronze among participants from 22 states.

But Nandini’s dream was clear—she wanted national gold.

On 12 August 2025, at an Ice Stock State Championship hosted by Vivekananda Global University, she achieved two Gold Medals. With renewed confidence, she competed in the Samar Stock National Championship 2025 in Agra, where athletes from 14 states participated. In a tough final match against Gujarat, Nandini and her team secured a spectacular victory by 8 points, finally winning the National Gold Medal she had worked so hard for.

Today, Nandini aims to represent India on the international stage and bring home a gold medal for the country. She expresses heartfelt gratitude to the Ice Stock Association, Director Sakshi Sharma, Manish Bhati, Sameer Sir, and especially Msk Pankaj, whose support changed the direction of her life.

Nandini’s journey is a powerful reminder that resilience can overcome prejudice, and determination can break every barrier. Her story serves as an inspiration for every individual who dares to rise above society’s limitations and fight for their dreams.

New Delhi, India  : The Punjabi music scene is buzzing with fresh energy, and at the forefront of this movement are Falcon Singh and Lucky, two emerging artists from Delhi who are rewriting the sound of independent Punjabi music. With heartfelt storytelling, genre-defying production, and a chemistry that feels effortless, the duo is rapidly becoming a name to watch in the industry.

Their latest release, “Psychopath,” has taken social media by storm and is currently trending on Instagram as one of the most-used Punjabi audios. The track blends rock, trap, and Punjabi rap elements to create an unapologetically bold sound proving that Falcon and Lucky aren’t afraid to experiment and break boundaries. Produced by This is GRV (Garv Mongia), the song delivers high energy, powerful beats, and raw vocals that are connecting with audiences across the country.

The duo’s musical journey began earlier this year with “Teri Aa,” released on 13th September under One Music Records. Written and composed by Falcon Singh, the soulful romantic track explored the pain of lost love with lyrical honesty and melodic simplicity. The song struck an emotional chord, garnering love across streaming platforms and social media.

Building on that momentum, they released “It Was You” on 13th October, a sad romantic/rap fusion that perfectly captured heartbreak through rhythm and rhyme. With heartfelt lyricism and versatile production, the track reflected the duo’s ability to balance emotion with innovation, a signature that now defines their sound.

Their creative evolution reached new heights with “Psychopath,” which dropped on YouTube (Falcon Singh) on 1st November and across major streaming platforms on 31st October. The track’s success marked a defining moment for the duo, pushing their artistry beyond conventional Punjabi music and solidifying their presence among India’s most promising new acts.

Up next is “Lost in Love,” set to release on 13th November a romantic Punjabi track penned by Lucky. With lush melodies and soulful writing, the song promises to be an emotional anthem for listeners.

The duo is also gearing up for their debut album, “PHASES,” releasing in December 2025. Featuring five tracks, the project will explore love, heartbreak, growth, and self-discovery reflecting different emotional stages of life. True to its name, PHASES will showcase Falcon and Lucky’s evolution as musicians and individuals navigating their creative journey.

In a powerful confluence of beauty, intellect, and purpose, Sabitha Sriram, crowned Ms India 2025 and Ms Digital Eco Queen 2025, is redefining what it means to wear the crown. A visionary with a heart for sustainability, she is using her platform to promote Artificial Intelligence (AI) for humanity, bridging technology with compassion to create a more sustainable and equitable India.

Armed with a Master’s degree in Business and Analytics, Sabitha embodies the spirit of innovation. Her vision — “AI for Sustainability” — extends beyond theory, incorporating AI-driven agricultural enhancement, renewable energy use, and river and ocean cleaning through remote sensing technologies. She believes that technology, when combined with ethics and empathy, can transform India’s environmental and social landscape.

Inspired deeply by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Sabitha integrates his philosophy of “nation building through technology and knowledge” into her initiatives. Echoing Kalam’s PURA (Providing Urban Amenities to Rural Areas) model, she advocates for using AI and geospatial technologies to uplift rural India — improving weather forecasting, monitoring mineral resources for afforestation, and boosting crop productivity.

“My dream is a distress-free rural India — where farmers thrive, scientists innovate, and renewable energy lights every home,” says Sabitha. Her concept of Digital Eco Queen symbolizes a new generation of leadership that combines scientific knowledge with cultural values. Rooted in spirituality and guided by ethics taught by her parents and professors, she promotes the idea of women as the embodiment of Saraswathi and Matru Bhumi, inspiring women in science to lead climate research and environmental conservation.

Beyond technology, Sabitha supports social causes close to her heart. She champions scholarship programs for children from marginalized communities, advocates acid-attack prevention through the Laxmi Agarwal Foundation, and promotes sustainable farming through Digital Green Foundation’s AI initiatives.

Her message is simple yet powerful:

“A nation’s economic development is powered by competitiveness, competitiveness by knowledge, knowledge by innovation, and innovation by the right resource investment.”

Through her title as Ms India 2025, Sabitha Sriram represents not just grace and intelligence but a transformative vision for sustainable nation-building — where AI, renewable energy, and humanity work hand in hand for a better tomorrow.
